We’re on the lookout for two dedicated preschool teachers (full time, assistant teacher) working with children:
– 1 year old teacher (12 months-24 months) to join our team of educators.
– Floater teacher 2 year old, 3 year old, Prekindergarten room (24 months-60 months) assisting teachers in classroom with completing daily task and lessons.
Your main gig will be prepping and carrying out educational lesson plans and activities with your fellow teachers, following the school’s rules. Your job is to share knowledge and guidance with students while making sure they’re safe. The perfect fit for this role will be super passionate about teaching, able to connect with students, and build a trusting relationship. You should be able to communicate like a pro with students and teachers, keep an open mind, and work with the staff to create a safe, happy, and fun learning environment for everyone. Plus, you get paid vacation after a year and sick days and holidays after a month on the job.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keeping a safe, caring, and loving vibe all day long
- Putting together engaging lessons and activities using different teaching methods
- Offering personalized instruction to each student to make learning interactive
- Sharing educational content like notes, summaries, and assignments
- Talking to kids about what they’re learning and what they’re into
- Tracking students’ progress and giving feedback
- Keeping your classroom neat and organized
- Planning and running educational activities and events
- Being open to feedback and adjusting your teaching methods accordingly
- Keeping an eye on students’ behavior and reporting any concerns
- Continuing to learn and grow professionally through classes and training
What You Need:
- Some experience as a teacher is a plus, but not a must
- Good grasp of teaching best practices and educational guidelines, and a willingness to follow school policies
- Great communication and people skills

Pay: pay is per hour depending on qualifications (CDA, associate degree in early childhood development, degrees other related fields, or CLASS scores), years of experience (preferably in Type 3 centers), and more. Below is our pay scale:
Level 1: Assistant Teacher I- past early childhood experience or CDA is not required, starting pay $10.00 – $10.75
Level 2: Assistant Teacher II- has 6 or more months of early childhood experience as assistant teacher & has started training toward CDA starting pay $10.75 – $11.75
Level 3: Lead Teacher I- has 1-2 years of early childhood experience as an assistant teacher & CDA is in progress starting pay $12.00 – $13.00
Level 4: Lead Teacher II- has 1-2 years of successful early childhood experience as a lead teacher, has proficient or higher CLASS scores, and CDA completed starting pay $13.00 – $15.50
Level 5: Master Teacher- has 2 or more years of early childhood experience as a lead teacher, has highly proficient or higher CLASS scores, has completed CDA, and has trained assistant teachers successfully starting pay $15.50 – $18.00
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift Full Time shifts during times from 6:55-5:30
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- CDA (Child Development Associates) certification, preferred but not required
