Newman Summer is recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic swim instructors who enjoy working with 4 – 11 year old children to join our summer camp team. Qualified instructors will provide safe and motivating aquatic instruction with an emphasis on student engagement. Here is a link to our website for an overview of the program https://www.newmansummer.com/swimming.
We have approximately 400 elementary school aged students attend Newman Summer Day Camp. At camp, rising 1st through 5th graders may design their own camp experience every day. This level of customization allows us to meet the interests of the athlete, the artist, the scientist, swimmer, and the child who wants to try it all. Pre-K and Kindergarten campers have their own specially designed program.
Swim Instructors work as a team actively engaging and supervising our campers throughout the day, along with helping faculty and instructors facilitate the programming. The position reports to the Camp Swim Supervisor.
