Salary:
- $58,284 – $80,375
Work Duration:
- Nine (9) months

- 7.5 hours per day
- ESSER FUNDED position which will be funded through May 2024.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential, including but not limited to:
- Provide instruction in English that meets state and federal standards
- Adapt curriculum to provide individual, small group, and/or remedial instructions to meet student needs
- Establish supportive relationships with students
- Engage students in meaningful, developmentally appropriate, real world discussions and learning activities that enable language acquisition and development
- Utilize periodic student growth benchmarks to determine ongoing language needs and support
- Collaboratively work with administrators, teachers and families of English Learning students to communicate and develop students’ progress in English language acquisition
Certification / Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree
- Must be Louisiana certified; type `A,’ `B’ OR `C’ – OR- LEVEL 1, 2 OR 3
- Hold or be eligible for ESL (English as a Second Language) certification
- Fluency in Spanish communication PREFERRED
