Meggin is a Registered Nurse with Children’s of Alabama. When in the country, her typical shift is 7PM to 7AM in the pediatric intensive care unit. She works largely with children who have suffered trauma from accidents, falls, burns, or cancer-related illness. Meggin also spends a large amount of her time in Africa, either giving direct care in villages, removing facial tumors aboard mercy ships off the coast, or delivering up to 185 babies in a single day.
